Toyota is to launch a new small SUV for the European market at the Geneva show in March.

The model’s segment is one of the fastest growing in Europe anywhere, with sales increasing by 63.6 per cent in 2006.

The new SUV will be based on the Yaris platform and will use design elements from Toyota’s Urban Cruiser concept, which debuted at the 2006 Geneva salon.
