The Nissan Atleon 7.5-tonner will be on sale in the UK within two years, and will be distributed through selected Volvo Truck dealers. By the time the Spanish-built Atleon arrives, Volvo Truck dealers will already be familiar with the Nissan CV range - between five and 15 of them will start selling Nissan Interstar and Cabstar vans in January 2008.

Last week, Volvo’s Steve Kirk was appointed as LCV business development manager for Volvo Truck Centers. This role will be for two years and  is designed to drive the development of Nissan LCV business at Volvo Truck Centers across the European markets, including the UK.
