The oil lasts a lot longer helping reduce demand on petroleum oil. For the truckers I would suggest using 100% synthetic oil with a bypass oil filter system. Fuel mileage should improve with the synthetic oil and the bypass filter will futher extend the oil's life. The oil life can be determined by oil analysis. I would also recommend using a engine flush before converting to synthetic to remove sludge and varnish from the engine. The oil will last long enough to more than pay for the additional cost giving a great value. Hope this helps a little.
